The following is a set of snapshots from the Marine Seismology and Geoacoustics Group at WHOI using data output from a FORTRAN program using the TIME-DOMAIN-FINITE-DIFFERENCE method for calculating Synthetic Seismograms. The finite-difference program outputs data as seismograms (time-series) and as snapshots of the waveforms in a depth and range grid. Please see Ralph Stephen's selected publications for further references on this technique.
