development of clastic continental slopes and rises and the carbonate dominated
marginal basins of the Middle East.
- Using borehole seismology methods (vertical and oblique seismic profiles) to study the seismic and attenuation structure of ocean crust.
- Deep-sea sedimentology, stratigraphy, clastic depositional processes, and environmental impact of deep-sea mining.
